SI Imaging Services (SIIS) is the exclusive worldwide marketing and sales representative of KOMPSAT (Korean Multi-Purpose Satellite) satellite imagery: KOMPSAT-2, KOMPSAT-3, KOMPSAT-3A and KOMPSAT-5. SIIS contributes Remote Sensing and Earth Observation industries / societies by providing very high resolution optical and SAR images through over 80 sales partners worldwide.

KOMPSAT products include SAR and Optical products. Firstly, optical products are KOMPSAT-2, 3, 3A, and 5. KOMPSAT-2 has huge archive data all over the world (2.7 million scenes) and has large daily collection capability. KOMPSAT-3 has the highest bits per pixel among the commercial imagery (14 bits per pixel), so it performs better for spectral analysis. KOMPSAT-3A acquired high resolution imagery of 40cm. Secondly, radar product is KOMPSAT-5, which is very high resolution of 85cm. The radar satellite can take images on bad weather condition. Therefore, it is valuable for disaster monitoring which requires quick imaging ability.
