The world recognizes the need for renewable natural gas and sustainable aircraft fuels, and these fields are booming. The IEA projects an 18-fold growth in renewable natural gas (RNG) production by 2040, and industry sources project a 50% expansion in the next two years. IATA projects an expansion of SAF annual production from the current 125 million liters to 5 billion by 2025. These exponential growth curves and the enormous business opportunities they entail, however, will only be available to those able to mobilize billions of dollars of capital for the production, transportation and marketing of these fuels.
