Learn from state regulators how they are approaching the challenges of permitting and interconnecting offshore wind projects

Offshore Wind Implementation 2018 will bring state and federal regulators and policymakers together with leading offshore wind leaseholders and developers to explore the paths to offshore wind project implementation. They will discuss the thorniest challenges these projects face, from interconnection and integration with onshore energy markets to developing sufficient local content to meet state requirements without jeopardizing project cost and schedule. Finally, the conference will explore how to ensure that bankable projects emerge from this process by fully taking advantage of state and federal tax benefit and incentive programs, and meet the likely criteria to obtain both debt and equity financing.

Attend Offshore Wind Implementation 2018 to meet the regulators, policymakers and developers working to rapidly implement a wave of OSW projects.

Pre-Summit Executive Briefing:
Rapidly Reducing the Costs of Offshore Wind in the U.S.
Executive Briefing attendees will learn how to establish a path forward to a cost-effective supply chain in the US and how to translate the European experience to the US market. Preeminent experts in the field will discuss preparing ports for staging offshore wind, developing Jones Act compliant marine logistics, and reducing the cost for environmental studies

RTO Insider

Website

RTO Insider™ is your eyes and ears on the organized electric markets, putting you “inside the room” at PJM Interconnection, MISO, NYISO, ISO-NE and SPP. We provide independent, objective coverage and analysis of the wholesale electric industry’s markets and policymaking, saving you time and ensuring you don’t miss the issues most important to your interests.

Features include:

  • Coverage of key RTO/ISO committee, subcommittee and task force meetings. We’ll be there when you can’t.
  • Coverage of news events impacting the industry throughout the 35 states managed by the RTOs/ISOs.
  • Coverage of state and federal regulatory (FERC, EPA) & legislative news affecting RTO/ISO stakeholders.
  • Issue Briefs: Concise summaries of major issues (e.g., Order 1000, EPA’s 111(d) rule).

What RTO Insider isn’t: We are not advocates or representatives. You can trust that our coverage will not be slanted to the interests of any member or membership sector.

What RTO Insider is: A source for both the big picture (e.g. analyses of major FERC rulings and RTO stakeholder developments) and the details (why is Manual 28 being changed and what does that mean to me?)
