CA Energy Summit 2019 - Presented by Infocast
  • How Will 2019 Mega Trends Impact California’s Energy Markets?

Get the Latest from Policymakers, Active Market Participants, and Decision-Makers.

The 2018 legislative season solidified California’s role as a renewable energy leader and set the stage for tremendous growth and opportunity. SB100 launched a statewide planning effort to outline the pathway to a 100% non-carbon grid. However, getting there means both major regulatory planning efforts on decarbonization, generation, and transmission and a reassessment of the state’s key energy players’ roles.

The road ahead isn’t without its hurdles as the industry has in this past year experienced fallout from wildfires and the PG&E bankruptcy, uncertainty regarding future procurements, and resource adequacy reform. Overcoming these challenges requires California energy players to strategically plan how to take advantage of SB100 and evaluate the best path forward.

The 7th Annual California Energy Summit 2019 will bring together California’s top regulatory officials, utility and public power leaders, and developers to discuss the statewide implications of SB100 and solutions to California’s most pressing challenges in forming a 100% green grid. Some of the highly impactful topics to be discussed include wildfire prevention plans, transmission buildout needs, resource adequacy reform, the shifting roles of LSEs, and more.

Don’t miss the Pre-Summit Executive Briefing: Planning for a Decarbonized Future for an examination of DER integration, transmission needs, building decarbonization, and other planning initiatives necessary to achieve SB100 targets.
