NY CES Briefing - Presented by Infocast

The NY Clean Energy Standard Will Open Myriad Opportunities – Find Out How to Capture Your Piece!

In August 2016 the NY PSC approved Governor Andrew M. Cuomo’s signature New York Clean Energy Standard (CES), which establishes a “50% by 2030” renewable energy RPS and other energy efficiency and clean energy programs. A year later, implementation of this ambitious and comprehensive plan is poised to begin. Utilities and other energy suppliers will be required to procure and integrate enough renewable power to reach over 30% of total load by 2019. This aggressive goal is estimated to result in the addition of nearly 10 GW of land-based wind and solar over 5 years, with procurement of an additional 2.4 GW of offshore wind ramping up to offset the closure of the Indian Point plant. How will this large and audacious clean energy program affect the New York energy market, and how can you identify and capture the best opportunities to profit?
The New York Clean Energy Standard – Opportunities and Challenges will bring policy-makers together with utility, wind, solar, microgrid and other executives to provide the latest information on the opportunities and challenges in New York, and discuss potential strategies for the future.
